Stamoulis Mourogiannis is an Airfield engineer, holding a Diploma Degree in civil and transportation engineering from NTUA, Greece. He also holds a Diploma
Degree in airfield engineering from the Hellenic Air Force Academy, as well as an MBA from City University, UK. He has over 27 years of experience leading and managing project teams, and integrating airport management with multiple technical disciplines on a variety of airfield projects. Prior to joining Airport ACE, Mr. Mourogiannis served the Hellenic Air Force as an Airfield Engineer Officer, occupied among others with the business plan development for a number of Greek aerodromes.
His core area of professional interest is airport pavement evaluation using nondestructive methods (NDT). He acquired international exposure and significant experience on the International Regulatory Boards, while participating in several NATO committees and working groups dealing with ICAO Annex 14 compliance assessment procedures, Criteria and Standards for airfields and STANAG development. Mr. Mourogiannis has also an extensive experience in financial and engineering audit, while being a lead auditor of airport infrastructure projects for a period of six years.
